5 Month Squeal

Natalie is 5 months today! I just can't believe how quickly she is growing! We are loving her little smiles, her giggles, and her determination as she struggles to get herself off the ground and mobile. Luckily, we haven't made it there yet, but I have a feeling it won't be long!

This last month we have done a lot of things! We had Natalie's 4 Month pictures taken with my uncle and they turned out fabulous! Even though Natalie was grumpy the entire afternoon (and crashed completley on the way home), she still behaved long enough to get some beautiful shots.

June was also Chris' first Father's Day. Natalie just loves her daddy and he is the best father to her. It was a good day to remind us of how important dad's are in the lives of their little princesses. Natalie is such a lucky girl to have a wonderful dad!

Every summer, I "borrow" my niece (Lexi) and spoil her for a 4-5 days. This year, we took Natalie and Lexi to the San Diego Zoo where we saw elephants, hippos, bears, monkeys, and lots of other animals! Lexi had a great time while Natalie stared in awe from her stroller. The next few days involved lots of swimming, movies, and an afternoon at the beach. We love seeing cousin Lexi and enjoyed all of the activities!

Beginning in July, Natalie celebrated her first Fourth of July celebration and did it in style--by fussing the entire day, not napping, and then passing out during fireworks. I'm not sure what was bothering her, but this wasn't typical Natalie behavior. Later she proved herself golden when we drove up to our hometown to visit the in-laws and did wonderful! We visited Grandma Vickie and Auntie Alex and Great-Grandma Borcher and had a fun time at the farmer's market, Avila Valley Barn, and eating at Custom House.

We had such a fun time celebrating holidays, visiting family, and doing fun things!
