3 Month Squeal

Wow, three months old and I feel like we've hit a huge milestone! See that kind-of-a-smile? Yes, we are smiling now and even playing with our toys! Suddenly the world is an exciting place and one of the best places in the world is the grocery store. We walk in and she's immediately mesmerized by the colors, noises, and everything around her. For the first time, I feel like I can take her places.

What have we been up to this past month?

We finally welcomed Baby Austin! Natalie is no longer the baby of the family, but now has another cousin! It's amazing to hold Austin and think that Natalie was that small at one point. Compared to him, Natalie suddenly looks huge and she wasn't even three months yet! I miss having my little baby. Time is just flying by way too quickly.

We also had a visit from Chris' dad (Grandpa) at the beginning of May. Natalie loved Grandpa and how he would play with her and her toys. With Grandpa, we took Natalie to her first baseball game and she did great! We had some much fun and she was so sad when he left a few days later. But at least we got to visit with him while she is still little! The next visit won't be until Thanksgiving!

I don't think I wrote about this last month, but we also celebrated our first Easter. For the holiday, I picked out a nice pink poofy dress for Natalie to wear and we went to my Aunt's house to celebrate. Even though my little girl isn't quite ready for Easter Egg hunts, she made up for it by nursing up a storm. It was a great holiday and we had a ton of fun! Now I can't wait for next year when hunting Easter eggs *might* be interesting, though who knows what might interest a 1-year-old?
